Spring is here, and with it, the welcome return of warmer and longer days. Hope you are enjoying it 🙂
Thank you for your votes, and I’m delighted to welcome our new Board members - May Li, Vinny Sharma, and Neha Wasu. We’re excited to have you step in and contribute your perspectives, energy, and leadership to the chapter.

I also want to extend a big shoutout and a heartfelt thank you to our outgoing Board members - Isabelle Saleh, Denise Prindiville, Hiba Raychouni, Suzanne Jones and Andy Martiniello. Your dedication, care, and commitment over the past year have helped shape and strengthen our coaching community. We are truly grateful for all that you have contributed; our chapter is stronger because of you.
Looking ahead, International Coaching Week (ICW) in May is just around the corner. This is a special time for us as a global coaching community to come together, share the value of coaching, and create spaces for learning, reflection, and connection. We always appreciate the enthusiasm and involvement of our members during ICW, and we look forward to another engaging week this year too. You’ll find more details in this newsletter.
Preparations for this year’s Annual Awards are now underway. We invite you to begin reflecting on potential nominations, with more details to be shared soon.

International Coaching Week (ICW) 2026, taking place from May 11–17, 2026.
This global celebration highlights the powerful impact of coaching. This year, we have an opportunity to build on our 2025 momentum to create even greater reach and deeper impact within our community!
We warmly invite you to connect, contribute, and inspire by participating in the following ways:
1) Present an ICW Event
Share your expertise and passion by leading a session on topics that support coaches and professionals in their personal and professional growth. |

- Submit your proposal - deadline extended to April 20, 2026 - via the submission form by clicking here
- Limited timeslots available (calendar included in the form) – first come first serve
- Please note: Events are intended for learning and community impact, not business promotion
We welcome all submissions and especially encourage members who have not presented before to step forward, your voice and perspective matters.
Pro Bono Coaching Sessions as Events
If you are an ICF-credentialed coach and would like to offer pro bono sessions during ICW, we will support you in setting up your session on the ICW event page.
You will simply provide your booking link and manage your own schedule.

2) Participate in the Coast-to-Coast Pro Bono Coaching Challenge
April 1 – May 17
We are excited to join the Coast-to-Coast Pro Bono Coaching Challenge, hosted by the ICF Los Angeles Chapter.
- Commit to provide 3 or more pro bono coaching hours to your network and community. You will be provided a participant badge to help your promotion on Social platforms of your choice when you register.
- Contribute to a North America-wide impact initiative (13+ participating ICF chapters)
- Follow the simple 4-step process to be part of this meaningful movement.
- Track our collective impact provided by the program.

3) Join ICF TO Hub In-Person Events (May & June)
Another wonderful way to engage is by attending ICF Toronto Hub events happening across May and June.
Our Hubs are encouraged to host special ICW-themed events, extending coaching conversations into local communities and organizations.
Register to the hub events near you on our website. Non-coach guests can join an ICW-themed Hub event for FREE during May and June!

4) Amplify Our Impact
Help us expand our reach by sharing ICW promotions with your network.
- Repost LinkedIn content (coming soon!)
- Invite your community to attend ICW events hosted by ICF Toronto Chapter, Pro bono coaching, and join the ICW-themed Hub events.
- Be an ambassador for coaching

Board?

We’re excited to invite passionate volunteers to step into a vital role as Board Coaches. As a Board Coach, you’ll play a key role in fostering leadership development and board engagement—essential elements of a thriving, high-performing organization. When Board Members feel supported and inspired, they lead with greater confidence, commitment, and vision.
Join the Team—We’re Looking for Board Coaches!
In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one coaching to a Board Member, averaging two hours per month over the course of a year. Your coaching will help them sharpen leadership skills, tackle challenges, and achieve their ICF Board goals.
Why Become a Board Coach?

- Build a deep, rewarding relationship with a coaching colleague
- Gain valuable insights into ICF leadership and operations
- Earn coaching hours toward accreditation

Board Coach Qualifications
Required:
✔ Active ICF certification (ACC, PCC, or MCC)
✔ Expertise and experience in leadership coaching
Preferred:
✔ Active ICF Global membership
✔ Active ICF Toronto chapter membership
✔ Experience or professional focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion
✔ Previous experience as an ICF Board Member or service on a not-for-profit Board

Welcoming Our Newly Appointed Board Directors |
On behalf of the ICF Toronto Board, thank you to all members who participated in the Special Meeting and took the time to cast their votes.
We are pleased to confirm that the motion to appoint three new Board Directors, May Li, Vinny Sharma, and Neha Wasu was carried. Their appointments have now been formally approved following validation of the proxy and in-person votes. We appreciate the confidence you have shown, through your vote, in the governance and continued success of our local Chapter.
